1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
It was the 4th of July last year, we decided to have a picnic on the beach and watch the fireworks. Little did we know, an hour into our picnic, the waves came crashing where we were sitting and washed away our picnic baskets and our shoes. We were completely soaked and covered in sand. The bystanders at the beach were laughing and of course, we laughed along with them. We had to walk nearly 1 block barefoot to a store nearby topurchase shoes. We literally felt homeless as everyone was looking at us soaked and bare feet, but it was a time to remember, and we had so much fun.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
I love my kitchen, it is one of the places where I spend the most time in the house, but if I had to choose the 2 most important things there, it would be my fridge and my sharp knives collection. I love organizing my fridge and making sure everything is visible and neat. Sometimes I open my fridge just to look and to close it back. As far as my knife collection is concerned, when I’m in the kitchen I often think that I am one of the professional chefs on TV, therefore I love chopping away asfast and easily as they do.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
People often assume that I cannot cook because I'm always on the go and my mother and grandmother are always bringing me food. Little do they know I love cooking and I’m also a great cook. I love my food colorful and creative because of that I have many cooking books and I'm also always online researching new recipes. I enjoy cooking and it's a great bonding experience for my husband and I. We have fun and enjoy our meals. When others comment on my great cooking skill it makes my day.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
In my line of work, I demonstrate leadership skills daily, but nothing put my leadership skills to the test more than working the crisis assignment during the covid 19 pandemic in the hospital. On countless occasions, I had to stand up to managers, directors, and even doctors to advocate for the nurses and patients to remind them not to let fear dictate the care that they give but to rely on the oath they took to provide efficient safe care. My staff were scared, I had to lead by example, wear the proper equipment and garments, and continue to provide evidence-based care in the middle of the chaos.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
If I had no fear, I’ll definitely try skydiving. It is an activity that I often see and want to do but I always back out because of fear. I would love to one day conquer this fear and book a skydiving trip. I love seeing the beauty of the world from above which is why I love windows sitting on an airplane so I can only imagine what it'll be like doing skydiving.
